Welcome to SiphonMC SMP! This guide is designed to help new players get started and learn the basics of commands, worlds, and gameplay. It's also a great resource for experienced players looking to brush up on specific topics.
- Start Earning Money:
Use /jobs browse to open a menu with 19 available jobs.
- Right-click a job icon for details on how to earn money.
- Left-click to join, or use
/jobs join [job].
- New players can join up to three jobs right away, so pick ones that suit your playstyle.
¶ Claiming Land
- Protect Your Builds:
After gathering resources, use /rtp to teleport randomly in the Main World.
- The Main World never resets, so your builds will always be safe.
- Claim land to ensure no one can break or steal your creations.
- Claim Shovel:
Use the golden Claim Shovel from the starter kit to mark your claim's corners.
- If you've lost the shovel, use
/kit starter (2-hour cooldown) or craft a golden shovel.
- Claiming Steps:
- Right-click one corner of your claim with the Claim Shovel.
- Right-click the opposite corner to create your claim.
- Ensure you have enough claim blocks—a message will notify you if more are needed.
- Set a Home:
Use /sethome [name] inside your claim to easily return.
Commands for Managing Claims:
- View Claims:
/claimlist shows all your claims and remaining claim blocks.
- Expand Claims: Use
/expand claim [amount] or adjust the corners with your Claim Shovel.
- Delete Claims: Stand inside the claim and use
/abandonclaim.
- Start with 250 claim blocks when you join.
- Earn 100 claim blocks per hour of playtime (up to 35,000).
- Need blocks faster? Purchase them in the /coinshop.
Allow others to access your claim with specific permissions:
- /accesstrust [IGN]: Use buttons, levers, and doors.
- /containertrust [IGN]: Access chests, furnaces, animals, and crops (includes /accesstrust).
- /trust [IGN]: Full access to build and break blocks (includes /containertrust).
- /permissiontrust [IGN]: Grant trust permissions to others.
To remove a player’s permissions, use /untrust [IGN].
Create separate areas within your claim for shops, player plots, or specific builds:
- Switch to subdivision mode with
/subdivide.
- Mark two corners within your claim to create a subclaim.
- Subclaims inherit protection but can have unique permissions.
- Use gpFlags to control rules in your claim:
- Example: Block certain players, set up parkour, or limit access.
- Commands:
/setclaimflag <flag> to set a flag./removeclaimflag <flag> to remove a flag./listclaimflags to view all active flags.
- Unexpanded claims are deleted after 2 weeks of inactivity.
- Other claims expire after 30 days unless you own 10,000+ claim blocks, which prevents expiration.
¶ Clans and Leveling
Form a clan to team up with others, compete, and earn rewards.
- Create a Clan: Use
/clan create [name] to start your clan. Customize it with a banner and tag.
- Earn Points: Gain points by adding members, winning wars, completing quests, and more.
- Level Up: Each level unlocks rewards like coins, perks, more member slots, and clan home slots.
- Collaborate: Form alliances, declare rivals, and manage your members with promotions and roles.
